Emily Murawski
Emily Murawski donned her first ballet slipper as a 4-year old and has had a love of dance since that moment. Although she found her calling elsewhere, in a classroom of young children, Emily has continued to attend dance performances in many places her husband’s AF career took them. As a long-time CSDT supporter she has been a volunteer, donor, board member, grant writer, and now President of the Board.

“I’m honored to serve in such a venerable organization as it moves from a 45-year existence as Colorado Springs Dance Theatre to its new and exciting identity as Dance Alliance of the Pikes Peak Region. We aspire to broaden our community audience for dance by broadening our partnerships in the community and working with other arts entities. We also look forward to bringing world-class dance to the region once again, and encouraging young up-and-coming dancers with performance opportunities and scholarships. How lucky I am to be a part of this vibrant organization as we move forward!”
