The Dance Alliance is proud to offer schools in our region the chance to bring upper Elementary, Middle, and High School students to a live professional dance performance at the Ent Center for the Arts during school hours through our ticket-access program, PIVOT.
What does the PIVOT program offer?
- Subsidized bus service up to $300.
- Reduced price tickets for students – $10/child, (Title I schools-$5/ticket)
- A Q&A with the Artists following the performance.
- Schools have the option to hold an assembly prior to the performance to teach students proper audience etiquette and introduce them to various dance genres, including Ballroom, Contemporary, Tap, and Hip Hop. Local professionals and our scholarship winners will perform and be available to answer questions. We can customize this assembly in terms of date, duration, dance genres, and discussion topics.
